Question 1

Do you offer 24/7 emergency service in Annapolis, MD?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Still’s HVAC provides 24/7 emergency HVAC service across Anne Arundel, Talbot & Queen Anne’s Counties. If your heat goes out on a cold night or your AC quits during a heat wave, call (410) 714-4822 and a real technician will help — no phone tree.

Question 2

How soon can a technician get to my home?

Accepted Answer

In most cases we offer same-day or next-day appointments. Emergencies are prioritized. Call us for current availability in your town.

Question 3

Do you charge for estimates?

Accepted Answer

We provide free, no-obligation estimates on new system installations and replacements. For repairs, we offer upfront, flat-rate pricing so you approve the cost before any work begins.

Question 4

What areas do you serve?

Accepted Answer

We serve Annapolis, Easton, Kent Island, Queenstown, and communities across Anne Arundel, Talbot & Queen Anne’s Counties, MD.

Question 5

How often should I service my HVAC system?

Accepted Answer

We recommend a professional tune-up twice a year — once in spring for your air conditioning and once in fall for your heating. Regular maintenance keeps efficiency high, prevents breakdowns, and protects your manufacturer's warranty.

Question 6

Should I repair or replace my system?

Accepted Answer

As a rule of thumb, if your system is over 10–15 years old, needs a repair that costs more than a third of a new unit, or has rising energy bills, replacement is usually the smarter investment. Our technicians will give you an honest recommendation — never a hard sell.

Question 7

Are heat pumps a good fit for Maryland winters?

Accepted Answer

Modern cold-climate heat pumps perform well in Maryland winters and provide efficient heating and cooling from a single system. We'll assess your home and help you decide whether a heat pump, furnace, or dual-fuel setup is right for you.

Question 8

Can you help with mini-splits and ductless systems?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Ductless mini-splits are ideal for additions, finished basements, garages, and rooms that are always too hot or too cold. We design, install, and service them throughout the Annapolis area.

Do you offer financing?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We offer flexible financing on qualifying installations so you can get the comfort you need now and spread the cost into affordable monthly payments. Visit our financing page or ask us about current options.
